Charl Gouws AKA DJ Freezy and Owner of Beatworx grew up in music industry / DJ environment. He began to DJ around 1999 as a mobile DJ for weddings, parties etc. Beatworx play all genres, types and styles of music. We've done over 600 mobile parties this includes weddings, birthday parties, year-end functions, matric dances, fund raisers, fashion shows, golf days, product launches, promotional parties. He started in the club scene in 2002 and was resident DJ at : Lanzas nightclub, Presleys Boksburg and Pretoria, Tempos, Newscafe,Bullheads pub/club, Liquidos, Sin Bin Café, Eastwoods to name a few. He has We DJ'ed for main events such as at Robbie Williams (live in S.A) VIP before and after party and is the regular DJ for Action Sports South Africa (at most arenas) as well as MC and DJ for Action Cricket World Cup in 2012. DJ for UNISA year end fuctions. He does not only DJ but also do sound engineering and light technician for bands and artists. We have worked with: Beeskraal, Prime Circle, Just Ginger, Mean Mr Mustard, Dozi, Adam Tas, Pieter Smith, Mel Botes, Battery Nege, Heinz Winkler and more. We have also done MC work and event DJ for Parlotones, White Rabbitt, Saving Silence, Tuin Dwergies, Dowwe Dolla, Jack Daniels Newscafe tour, Golf Day for Bites Communications where we worked with Daren Simpson (Wackhead) ,Graeme Geoffy and Cindy Nel. Equipment used: sound, lighting, audio visual, all special effects, screens, staging.
